Kilmarnock's Kris Boyd praised his teammates after scoring a double in the 2-1 win over Rangers at Rugby Park yesterday. His two goals took his Killie total to 118 which moved the Rugby Park side into the top six. Boyd said: "It’s always good to get on the score sheet, it’s credit to my teammates because I will always get in positions to score goals and they were able to find me. They have been excellent over the past few months. It wasn’t a true reflection of the game that we were 1-0 down at half time. There were a few minor problems which needed to be addressed and we did that. I thought we totally dominated the second half, we scored two but could have had three or four. That wasn’t down to bad play from Rangers, it was down to good play from Kilmarnock." |
