The Emirates Or Cliftonhill? No Contest

albionAlbion Rovers manager Paul Martin was pleased he opted to miss out on watching AC Milan at the Emirates Stadium to go to watch Stenhousemuir at Cliftonhill on Tuesday night.  The Second Division's bottom side won for the first time in nearly three months against the Warriors with Martin watching after he put off a business trip to London that included the Champions League tie between Arsenal and the Italian side.

Martin said: "I had a long standing meeting with clients of my roofing business in London which I had to miss once this game was re-arranged for Tuesday night. Part of that meeting included taking in the game at the Emirates but I gave that up to be in Coatbridge. There cannot be a much better way to win a game that to score a few minutes from time and then have your goalkeeper save an injury time penalty. The boys worked really hard for it and it made missing out on London all the sweeter."
