stmirren jpegBuddies' Kenny McLean needs to undergo minor surgery on his knee injury that looks likely to keep him out for two to three weeks. The midfielder  was forced to sit out the 2-2 draw with Inverness on Boxing Day. However, manager Danny Lennon expects to see him back in time for the Scottish Communities League Cup semi-final against Celtic at Hampden on 27 January. McLean has scored six goals in 22 appearances for St Mirren this season and has been linked with a move to Nottingham Forest or Ipswich.
