Plenty Time To Get Away From The Wrong End Of The Table

albionAlbion Rovers have dropped to the bottom of the second division which is not something that manager Paul Martin envisaged when they were promoted at the end of last season. However, the panic button has yet to be pressed.  He knows there is a lot of football to be played before the end of the season.

Martin said: "People will look at the table and reckon that is where they expected Albion Rovers to be but I see it differently. We are only 7 games into things and in two of the games we have lost we have suffered really bad luck with goalkeepers being incorrectly dismissed in the first half. We have drawn two and won one of the other games and lost away from home to top half sides Airdrie United and Cowdenbeath so there is no reason for anyone at Albion Rovers to be disappointed. We will have the players in working at the weekend and ensuring that no-one’s head is down after slipping down last week."
