No Easy Game Expected

C:WindowsTempphpBCAB.tmpSaturday sees Dundee head to Ibrox and Pedro Caixinha fully expects a tough game  having studied Dees’ manager Neil McCann’s methods. Dndee have only picked up one point in the league so far, but have impressed Caixinha in their games in terms of their style of football. The Ibrox manager expects former Gers winger McCann to set-up in a similar fashion at Ibrox on tomorrow.

Caixinha explained: "
I think Neil is a positive coach. You need to look at how teams play to understand what the manager’s want and how they think about football. So I see them trying to play positive football, building up from the back, opening the team and trying to connect the lines, and also have some pace in the wide areas. They play differently in a style which maybe the ‘big’ teams would have. The approach he has had has been very positive and I like to face positive teams, and all the teams we are playing are putting different sorts of problems to you, so we just need to find the solutions to solve it.  This is going to be an interesting one as they are going to try and play positively when they have the ball, and I think it is going to be positive for the game."

Looking back at the Ross County win, Caixinha and his coaches have been working on problems highlghted a fortnight ago.  He went on: "
In terms of things we didn’t like so much, we didn’t control the ball so well when we were winning 2-0, and we gave the opponent the chance to get into the game. That is something we really need to manage better, as well as giving the opponent chances because of easy losses of the ball in zones of the park where we cannot lose possession. We have been working too on being aggressive on attacking spaces knowing that opponents may well be like Hearts, and the way they came to play by sitting lower, meaning we don’t have too many spaces so we have to be aggressive to create and attack those spaces. Those are the points we have been working on over these two weeks."
