Longer Trip Home If You Lose

C:WindowsTempphpDF6C.tmpA long trip is in store for Inverness tomorrow as they head to Dumfries to take on Queen of the South. Manager John Roberston would like to be heading home after halving  the six point gap between the sides tomorrow evening.  Tuesday saw a welcome three points being stored away on the league table thanks to a 4-0 win over Brechin City.  Goals came from Brad Mckay, John Baird, Connor Bell and George Oakley, saw Inverness bounce back from a controversial 2-0 to St Mirren.

Looking ahead Robertson said: "
It’s a difficult one, again. Queens have gone under the radar, nobody has spoken about them at all, in terms of promotions, the play-offs spots or anything at all and they sit one-point underneath Dunfermline at the moment.  They’re a good team and are particularly good at home, on the AstroTurf, so we have to go down there in a positive frame of mind and battle it out. For us, it would be good [to win] as it would allow us to go within three points of them and that’s what we want to do, keep looking at the teams ahead of us and try and get closer."
