celtic jpegInjured midfielder Beram Kayal wants to be ready for action in time for the Scottish Cup final next month, if Celtic make it past Hearts in Sunday's semi-final. Kayal has been sidelined with an ankle injury he suffered in December's Old Firm win over Rangers. The Israel international underwent surgery as it was initially feared he would miss the rest of the season. However, he is hoping to return to action sooner than expected.

Kayal said: "I still hope to return this season and win Celtic the Scottish Cup. This championship was sweet because we worked so hard all season and we believe we're the best team. Every player in our squad contributed to the cause so we could all enjoy this wonderful moment."
