C:WindowsTempphp196F.tmpMotherwell will have Zaine Francis-Angol available for the Europa League qualifying tie against Stjarnan on Thursday. The winger missed the 2-2 first leg draw at Fir Park last week because of a hamstring injury. Midfielder Paul Lawson has travelled to Iceland with the squad but is restricted to training as he returns from injury. But the visitors will be without forward Craig Moore for the match at Stjornuvollur. Stuart McCall's side have to score in Reykjavik to stand a chance of going through to a tie with either Estonia's JK Nomme Kalju or Poland's Lech Poznan.

Stevie May will return to the St Johnstone starting line-up for the Europa League qualifier with Luzern tomorrow. May missed the first leg in Switzerland last week because of a thigh strain, but the Saints talisman is likely to start at McDiarmid Park. Manager Tommy Wright will again be without Steven Anderson, as the defender recovers from a hamstring strain. Midfielder Gary McDonald has shaken off a back injury to declare himself fit, after missing last week’s tie. However, forward Murray Davidson is still well short of match fitness following his recent knee operation.

Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes is unlikely to make any changes when his team play Groningen in the Europa League second qualifying round on Thursday. The Dons have no fresh injury problems when they travel to the Euroborg hoping to build on last week’s 0-0 draw in the first-leg at Pittodrie. And McInnes reckons Aberdeen’s form away from home last season will give his players confidence going into the game. McInnes, who has no fresh injury worries to contend with, believes his side can progress. He said :"We won at every league ground last season bar one and had a lot of big results as an away team. I don't expect them to take us lightly and, if they do, they'll be out of the tournament I certainly feel we can create chances and we can certainly score - if we can score, it's huge advantage for us."

McInnes has prepared his team for the possibility of extra-time and penalties as the teams vie to face Spanish side Real Sociedad in the next round. He went on: "It's very finely poised. Nil-nil wasn't the perfect result for us at home, but it's not a bad result either. It's very important not to concede at home. It's game on and both teams will feel they can win this tie. We have practised penalties. We have a team who are fit and strong and we feel they can play 120 minutes if need be, even at this stage of the season. We'll be ready to do whatever it takes to try to get the result." Groningen defender Martijn van der Laan is expected to be fit after missing the first-leg but may have to settle for a place on the bench.
