C:WindowsTempphp5E1B.tmpFeyenoord have reportedly made an official approach to sign Manchester City striker John Guidetti who is currently on loan with Celtic and who is out of contract at the Etihad this summer. The Dutch side know all about the striker as Guidetti spent the 2011-12 season on loan at Feyenoord from Manchester City and scored 20 goals. Parkhead manager Ronny Deila has said he wants Guidetti, who has also attracted interest from Inter Milan and Marseille, to join Celtic on a permanent basis.

Reports in Holland say the Eredivisie side have made the first move after technical director Martin van Geel flew into Glasgow and watched the striker play in the recent 4-0 win over Aberdeen. van Geel said: "We want the best squad and if that’s possible with Guidetti, it would be nice. It’s definitely an option. We’ll do all we can to make it happen."
