Craig Brown could be re-considering his position regarding taking over from Mark McGhee at Aberdeen. On Wednesday he insisted he would be staying at Fir Park after the former Scotland manager and his assistant, Archie Knox, met with Aberdeen chairman Stewart Milne, chief executive Duncan Fraser and director of football Willie Miller on Tuesday to discuss the managerial position. Discussions did not reach the stage of a job being offered and Brown said he was happy to stay where he was and called for the Motherwell board to help him improve the squad. However, Brown, who has been working without a contract since being appointed Motherwell manager in December 2009, could yet make the move north, saying "everyone is entitled to change their mind". |
