Another Chance To Progress To A Final

St JohnstoneSt Johnstone manager Tommy Wright did not have to pick his players up ahead of their meeting with Forfar in the Scottish Cup after failing to make the League Cup final. Aberdeen scored four with none in return in the semi-final at Tynecastle and will meet Inverness at Celtic Park on 16 March. The Perth Saints have another chance to progress in a cup competition when they face League One side Forfar at Station Park in the fifth round of the William Hill Scottish Cup on Saturday.

Wright said: "There's been no negative reaction to the Aberdeen game. They were obviously disappointed after the game and that probably lasted well into Sunday. But once training started everything was good. I didn't expect it to be any other way because in football you learn you need to move on. You can't stand still, you can't look back. You need to move on to the next game and that's what we have been doing this week. We've got another cup game and are one step away from getting to another quarter-final, which gives us the chance to get back into a second semi if we can win that. That's the added incentive."
