albionAlbion Rovers manager Paul Martin reckons that his team will put Saturday's double disappointment, suffered at Hampden, behind them and qualify for the play-offs for the first ever time this weekend. The Coatbridge side lost an injury time goal to go down 2-1 to Queen’s Park to lose the point they required to clinch a play-off place and also hand the title to Arbroath.  Martin’s men now need to beat Stranraer on Saturday to secure their spot.

Martin said: “Saturday was cruel but we will learn from it. I was really sorry for the fans on Saturday but I am sure they will recognise that these things happen in football. It was a disappointment but we will bounce back. We are used to adversity at Albion Rovers and are used to being the underdog. We have been tested all season and we now know what the next test is and that is to beat Stranraer. If we can not be the best team in the league we will look to be the second best team in the league.”
