Dundee Looking To Move Up On Hamilton

Partick Thistle will have to take on Dundee tonight without Alan Archibald who misses the game thanks to suspension. Liam Buchanan and Paul Keegan could also be missing as they are both struggling with injury. The Jags drew a blank against league leaders Hamilton at the weekend and now come up against the second placed team in the division. Manager Ian McCall said: "It's a tough run for us, but we wouldn't have it any other way."

Dundee's Bob Davidson faces a fortnight on the sidelines after damaging his calf in the 2-0 win over Clyde. Davidson went to hospital on Saturday amidst concerns he might have cracked his shin. An x-ray revealed no break but the Dark Blues believe that he could be out for a couple of weeks. The loss of Davidson for the trip to Firhill is offset by the return from suspension of Mickael Antoine-Curier but Colin McMenamin remains banned. A win tonight would move Dundee to within a point of First Division leaders Hamilton.
