Scotland and Japan will run out to a sell out crowd tomorrow after a late run on the last few tickets available for Group F's first double header. Nigeria and Costa Rica will play after Scotland with a 17:00 local time kick off . Scotland will be kicking off at 14:15 local time which works out as 10:15 Scotland time. The revamped Royal Athletic Park is looking in tip top condition and the 11,500 sell out crowd can expect to see an exciting game from the bleachers.

The Canadians have gone all out to impress FIFA with their organisation in the hope that other tournaments can be awarded to them in the future. This is the largest sporting event to happen in Canada and with the worlds eyes upon them, the Canadians do not want to blow their chance to impress.

Home for your humble reporter pre and post match

The press box is one of the most open and welcoming I have seen and the chance to see the best players at their level in the world - well - it just does not get much better. Scotland have already played at Royal Athletic Park, albeit 100 metres along a bit, so will be familiar with the pre match routine. Let us hope that the trip in March was not wasted and the players feel at ease right away and get three points on the board at the first time of asking.
