Livingston have continued to make changes that allow some targets to be chased now that Josh Peters and Ross Brown have left by mutual consent. Peters has been on loan at Forfar Athletic all season so far, and has made the move to Station Park permanent. Manager David Hopkin said: "Josh came into the club from League Two football and it’s probably been a step too far going straight into the Championship, which is a difficult league. But I’m sure Josh will work hard at Forfar and have another chance at stepping up to full time football in the near future. It’s all about game time, and Forfar are offering Josh the chance to do that. Again, I would like to go record by thanking Josh for his time at the club. He is a great lad and it was a pleasure working with him." Brown meanwhile has followed Dale Carrick to League One side Airdrie. Hopkin said: "Ross has been extremely unfortunate since signing with Livingston, as he has basically been injured for 90% of his time at the club. He needed to get out playing football as he is out of contract in the summer. Like Josh, Ross is a really nice lad and I wish him nothing but success with the Diamonds. With Ross and Josh going it allows me to focus on bringing in a few players we have been tracking for months." |
