Barclays Scottish Women’s Championship leaders Falkirk and Renfrew knocked up big wins to stay in front in Scotland’s third tier of women football. The Bairns blew away Ayr United 7-1 at home including a brace each from Olivia Murphy and Nina Hegarty and goals from Anna Murray, Vhairi Munro and Mhari Smith, while Renfrew ran out 6-0 winners in their Renfrewshire derby with Morton thanks to goals from Caitlin McKee, Paige Henry, Kiera Heppenstall, Emma Baird and and Morgan Graham. Forfar Farmington remain fourth thanks to a 5-2 home win against Armadale Thistle and Stenhousemuir move up to fifth after beating Inverness Caley Thistle 3-1 in the Highlands.
