Collins said: "The hardest part is telling players they are being left out. It's always a tough decision and it will be even tougher this weekend as cup finals are the games everyone wants to be playing in. They are special moments which don't come around every season although, hopefully, there will be more to come. The fact we can only name five substitutes is another factor but while I have a rough idea of my team, I won't finally make up my mind until towards the end of the week. I'll see them one at a time to explain the reasoning behind my decision before I name the team although players who are being left out don't want to hear reasons. However, I'd rather focus on the positive and the fact there will be a lot of happy faces when I name those who will be playing. Everyone knows I will be choosing the team and the substitutes I feel might be needed to bring the cup home on Sunday night." Unusually for a match at the national stadium that has no Old Firm club involved, Hampden Park is set for a 52,000 sell-out with Hibs selling the final 6,000 tickets of their allocation on Sunday. However, Collins is trying to keep nerves at a minimum. He said: "We'll be looking to keep it as normal as possible for the players. Training will be exactly the same, and we'll be as professional as we can be this week." | |||
