Rangers Playing For More Than Pride

Top take on bottom in Division Two as Berwick (12 points) take on league leaders Ross County (49 points). Hosts Berwick will have to cope without Brian Fairbairn, who is banned for the next two games. This is the first time in almost six weeks that the Rangers fans will see their favourites at home. It will be a short view as next weekend Berwick hit the road again with an away game at Airdrie. Boss Michael Renwick, who is already resigned to going down, wants his players to start playing for pounds as well as points. He said: "They are two very difficult matches for us, but we have to try and concentrate on our own game. They are not paid a lot therefore they need to do themselves a favour and start winning a few games to pick up their win bonuses. Since January I've been preparing for next season. Like any team who make a step-up without strengthening we've struggled. I can't expect a side who have only won twice all season to win nine of the remaining games. Now I just want the boys to play for themselves and get a few pounds in their pockets.''

Ross County manager Derek Adams welcomes back striker David Winters after playing against St Johnstone without him as was cup-tied. Paul Lawson, who was on the bench in midweek after his return from suspension, could get a place in the starting line-up once again. However, Hugh Robertson is still out with a knee injury. Adams said: "
Going out of the cup after doing so well was disappointing but we have plenty to focus on with the league."
