Livingston are still investing in players and appear to have found another defender they were looking for.

Jim looks like the cat that has got the cream
It looks like the mysterious 4th man we told that Livingston were looking to bring in has been identified. They have asked former Toulouse defender Jacques Paviot to join them at their Dutch training camp so manager Jim Leishman can run the rule over him. Paviot was bought by Toulouse as a replacement for Bobo Balde who of course plays for Celtic these days. Livingston will be playing top-flight Dutch side Go Ahead Eagles tonight (Tuesday) and general manager Jim Leishman could well let Paviot have a run out to see him in action. We told you that Leishman was keen to strengthen his squad and was already in final stages of discussions with three players.

Leishman has already been looking at a number of players for the challenge ahead and has been impressed by Gustave Bahoken during their short tour and is planning to have a word with his agent. However, he still wants to add another player and admits Paviot could fit the bill. Leishman said: "
He's out here training with us for a couple of days so we'll see how he does. If he does well, then there's the chance that we could take it further. We haven't really seen that much of him. He's here on a recommendation and that's why we brought him in. We could make a decision on him tomorrow but we'll see how he does today first. We have a game tonight and then we play again on Saturday - after that we'll be looking to add to the pool."
