Perhaps not using the best analogy, Miller said: "I am like a bear with a sore head if I am not playing. You are not going to be happy not getting a game, the manager wouldn't expect you to be happy and I am probably one of the worst. I went six or seven games when I didn't play at all and that was a concern, especially when I'm trying to hold down a place with the national team. There are a lot of lads doing really well in my position so it was a worry for me. If the manager was to tell me I wasn't in his plans I'm not going to sit here on the bench or in the stand. If things don't develop then I will have to look at my situation, especially as an international player." Looking back to last Wednesday regarding Strachan's decision to leave him on the bench, Miller added: "I was bitterly disappointed to be left out. I didn't play as big a role as I would have liked. Part of the reason you come to a club like Celtic is to play in games like that." | ||||
