Jim Leishman looks as if he has another coupel of defenders about to sign on at Almondvale. One new and one not so new face.

| The goings on at Almondvale are still going on. We told you the other day that Livingston were impressed by Cameroon defender Gustave Bahoken. They must really be impressed as they plan to offer him a deal to come to Scotland. Although he was with French club Rouen last season, Bahoken is keen to have a go in Scotland. That Leishman must have some technique when it comes to selling his club to a prospective player. Having the chance of an European adventure cannot to his sales pitch much harm though.
The defender was involved in the 6-2 friendly win over Go Ahead Eagles on Tuesday and that appears to have been the deciding factor. Leishman confirmed: "We'll offer him something. Gus has gone back to Paris, but he's returning to Scotland before the weekend." The Doula-born player has been around after starting off his career in Europe with Le Havre in 1999. Failing to make a breakthrough there and he moved onto FC Sion, Buraspor, and Valeciennes, before linking up with Rouen last season.
 | Willing to stick around |
| With new faces due in an old favourite looks as if he will be returning to the fray in Livingston's colours (if you can call white a colour). The final details are being iron out in a deal that will see Spanish defender Oscar Rubio sign a new deal. It appeared that Rubio was all set to leave the West Lothian club, but is now, apparently, ready to put pen-to-paper on a new contract within the next 48 hours.
