Dumbarton Want To Add Another Shock To East Fife's System

Dumbarton manager Jim Chapman knows the scale of the task he faces after two losses and a visit from league leaders East Fife on Saturday. The Sons are currently just three points clear of basement side Forfar following defeats to Elgin and Montrose and Chapman admits a shake-up is in order. He said: "We'll need a different approach for this as I've run out of excuses for what happened in the last two games. Again I can only apologise to the fans for the defeats to Elgin and Montrose, but the players have been told that it's time to be accountable too. We have three goalkeepers on the books and I'll consider all options and all 11 jerseys are up for grabs." Chapman will be without Grant Evans who is still suspended.

Stenhousemuir showed that East Fife are not invincible last week which will give Dumbarton some hope. However, East Fife will be keen to get back to winning ways after that shock. The Methil outfit still hold an 18 point lead over their nearest rivals and there seems to be little danger of them throwing it away. But nonetheless boss Dave Baikie, who is at full strength once again for tomorrow's game, is determined his side will bounce back. He said: "
It's a problem when you are in our position to keep the fear factor high because the boys have had an outstanding time up until now. But we must get the job done."
