Stalemate In Ireland

Scotland Under 17s could not reproduce the result from their first meeting with Northern Ireland on Monday. The second game ended 0-0. The game had to be moved from its original location in Larne to the Ashfield all weather surface in Belfast due to the freezing weather conditions. The 0-0 scoreline means Scotland have stretched their unbeaten run and have now gone four games without conceding a goal.

The big challenge comes next month as the players head to Germany for the next round of the UEFA Under 17 Championship. They face Republic of Ireland on 21 March, followed by Germany and Greece, with the winners reaching the tournament finals.
