Scotland Drawn In Group 4
Updated Monday, 14th March 2011
Hopefully Scotland's women will go one step further this time around.
Scotland have been drawn in Group 4 for the UEFA Women's Euro 2013 qualification round. They will be joined by France, Republic of Ireland, Wales and Israel. The seven group winners plus the best placed runner-up will automatically join hosts Sweden at the finals.
The other six runners-up will compete in a play-off for the remaining three places. It was at the play-off stage that Scotland went out during the last campaign. They lost out on a spot at the twelve team finals by the away goals rule after a 3-2 home defeat to Russia at Tynecastle and a 2-1 win in the away leg.
