The youngsters of Queen's Park have enjoyed their Leonardo da Vinci Initiative trip to Turkey

Leonardo di Vinci Initiative
Queen’s Park’s youngsters have been in Turkey for the last two weeks so could give Kenny Miller some tips on how they conditions affect your playing. The team were out there as part of the Leonardo da Vinci Initiative and enjoyed some new experiences. Their last game before heading home was a 3-1 loss to Locomotiv Moscow. Far from being downhearted, as this was a learning experience for all concerned, Queen's head of youth David McCallum was delighted with how well his side had done.

McCallum said: "We were playing against some of the top youth players in Russia and we gave a good account of ourselves. The boys used what they had been taught during the fortnight here in the game and I am sure we impressed Locomotiv a lot more than they thought we would. It was a great experience for the boys to be playing against full time players from a different environment and they did Queen’s Park proud."
