Suzanne Grant and Ifeoma Dieke are two key players in the Scotland women's national squad and they were on hand to promote tomorrow's game against Finland. The game is the second game of an international double header and the women hope Tynecastle will be echoing to the support from the stands at as Scotland bounce back from Saturday’s narrow defeat. The game will be the first played at Tynecastle since it was announced as Scotland women’s team's base for the UEFA Women’s European 2013 Championship. Both players are keen to mark this occasion with a win.

Suzanne Grant

Grant said: "This is a big game for us as it’s the last game before the qualifiers kick off. We lost narrowly to Finland at the weekend but played really well and were unfortunate to lose the game. Hopefully tomorrow we can get a win over Finland which will give the whole squad a big lift going into the qualifying campaign. There were a lot of positives to take from the game on Sunday. We kept possession, passed the ball around well and created a number of good chances so that will give us confidence going into this game. We have played qualifiers at Tynecastle before and got some very positive results and hopefully we repeat these performances during this qualifying section. It’s a great stadium and the atmosphere is brilliant and that will give all the players a lift."

Ifeoma Dieke

Dieke started Sunday's game and the Massachusetts born defender believes that the team can take a lot of heart from their performance. She said:  "Right now it’s all about performances for us with the campaign kicking off next month. We were happy with how we played over in Finland and I thought we were unlucky to lose the goal that we did but we’ve got the chance to make up for it on Wednesday night. From a defensive point of view, we defended really well on Saturday. They are ranked number one in their group so we can take a lot of heart from going over to Finland and them only sneaking a win. Our attacking play in the second half was really good and we were unfortunate not to grab a goal ourselves. Playing at home in front of our own fans obviously changes things a bit and that will give us a boost. The playing surface at Tynecastle is really good and that will suit the way that we play. We want to bounce back and hopefully get a good result. I’ve got a lot of good memories from playing at Tynecastle and hopefully there’ll be more to come during this campaign."
