Win, Lose Or Draw, Still A Tough Game Ahead

C:WindowsTempphp5FD0.tmpAberdeen manager Derek McInnes has rubbished suggestions Celtic's involvement in the Europa League hands his side an advantage ahead of the teams league meeting at Parkhead on Sunday. Celtic take on Inter Milan at the San Siro in their Europa League last-32 tie on Thursday evening and will not arrive back into Glasgow until the early hours of Friday morning. With a midday kick-off on Sunday, manager Ronny Deila faces a quick turnaround against the Dons who are just three points behind the champions, having playing one game more. But, despite his side having enjoyed a seven-day break McInnes insists the side's respective build-ups will not affect the outcome of the game.

He said: "Celtic will be ready for us just like we will be ready for them so win lose or draw whatever happens in Milan will have no bearing on our game on Sunday. If they go and get a result in Italy they will be coming back bouncing off the plane and feeling good about themselves. I don't see Thursday's game as any advantage or disadvantage either way. I just see it as a tough game but we plan to make it equally as tough for them."
