C:WindowsTempphp6807.tmpDubai is the home for the Celtic squad for the next short while as they ease themselves into getting ready for the second half of the season in the sun. 'Keeper Craig Gordon helped the club to start the winter break with an eight-point lead at the top of the Premiership. He and his team-mates are enjoying some warm winter sun to work on areas which might still need improving in order to come back fully fit and ready for the rest of the season.

Gordon said: "
We’ve played a lot of games and we now have this break to get the team back to doing the things we do really well and tactically getting back with reminders of how we go about playing, our defensive structure and how we translate that into attack.  We can work on that this week. We’ll be doing long sessions, working hard on our teamwork so that when we come back we’ll see that we have improved in a lot of areas."

Celtic will start back with a Scottish Cup game against Brechin City before their first Scottish Premiership game of 2018 away to Partick Thistle. In February, minds will turn to their UEFA Europa League last 32 game with Russian side, Zenit Saint Petersburg. Gordon said: "
I think it will be a good challenge to come out for the second half of the season and really push on and be dominant.  We want to improve our game to make sure that, whatever anyone throws at us, we have the answers."
