Not the way to get your name remembered when you first play for a side.
The Inverness manager was very careful with his choice of words when asked about a Jonny Hayes goal that was chalked off after the referee had blown his whistle for an earlier infringement. He added: "I'm not going to have a go at referees. I think it was a mistake but that's the way things are going for us at the moment. It's going to turn around for us, we just have to keep the faith and keep going."
Aberdeen midfielder Rob Milsom was relieved to score the Dons' first goal of the season after the Pittodrie side failed to find the net in their opening four games. The former Fulham man had the easiest of finishes after some great work by Josh Magennis to break the deadlock only 12 minutes. He said: "We knew it was a big game as results haven't been going our way recently. It has been the same for Inverness so we knew it was massively important to get a result and we managed to get a couple of goals too. We needed a first win and I'm sure this will be a stepping stone to getting more good results."
Dundee are the visitors in the second round of the Scottish Communities League Cup on Tuesday and Milsom hopes his side can go on another good cup run after reaching two semi-finals last season. He added: "We want a good cup run, similar to last year. That will be an important game and then we have Rangers at Ibrox which is another massive game to look forward to."
