Everybody seems to have an opinion on which team will make up the numbers in the SFL. Now you can put your money where your mouth is.

Bookmakers Victor Chandler have opened a book on which Scottish club will replace Gretna in the Scottish Football League and they make Edinburgh based club Spartans the even money favourites. VC spokesman Neal Wilkins said: "We feel that Spartans are the hot favourites at the moment. They have a new stadium being built at the moment, and the club are well regarded in Scottish football. Cove Rangers are strong candidates as well, but opinion might be against another Highland League club entering the league. Annan Athletic have a shout because they are from the south and these political issues might well count when the all the clubs vote in the ballot"

The other candidates are Edinburgh City who are based in the capital and Preston Athletic who are based in East Lothian. The SFL will make their decision on July 3.
