| Maros Klimpl is looking for a new club and wants to come back to Scotland and play for Aberdeen.

Maros Klimpl wants to link up with Aberdeen manager Mark McGhee again. The pair worked together at Motherwell when Klimple was on loan from FC Midtjylland. The Slovakian midfielder would be available on a free transfer after his contract with the Danish club was allowed to run down. McGhee has been linked with moves for a number of his former Well players but Klimpl is yet to get a call.
He said: "I really enjoyed working with Mark at Motherwell. He is an excellent coach and, from the training to playing for him, it was a brilliant experience. My first choice would be to stay in Scotland as I love the country. But I have to wait and see what happens. It's difficult for me to say anything because I haven't had a really serious offer. At the moment I don't know where I will report for pre-season training next week. I'm still under contract in Denmark but have been told by the club I will be allowed to leave so that's no problem. What I can say right now is Aberdeen would be a great choice for me. I made my debut for Motherwell away at Aberdeen. It's not something I will forget because it was one degree and the wind was freezing. They have good players and great fans. I love the style of Scottish football and, with McGhee there, too, Aberdeen would be perfect for me. For now, though, I'll just keep waiting for a phone call." | Editor Ger Harley (ger@scottishfitba net)
