C:WindowsTempphp199F.tmpWinter is closing in with temperatures plummeting so it is no surprise that Hearts are heading to Spain for a mid-season break in the sun.  Manager Craig Levein will take his side south of Valencia on 11 January for a five-day winter training camp.  While there, Hearst will play two closed-door friendlies against Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem on 12th and German side FC Nurnberg on 13th.

Levein said: "
The boys have had a short break and will be eager to get back into the swing of things.  I’m sure they’ll see it as a mini pre-season, and some warm weather training will help us reach peak fitness levels as we head into a crucial part of the season.  We have two games against strong opposition lined up and I’m hopeful that we will be able to involve some of the players who have missed out last month through injury."
