Tough Times Ahead At Parkhead

C:WindowsTempphp5AAA.tmpTom Rogic is a bit frustrated at not getting as much time on the pitch as he would like. He recognises that the 'enormous' expectations at Celtic make it difficult for him to get game time. He has decided to head back down to Australia on loan with Melbourne Victory to try and get time under his belt ahead of the World Cup. The time down under will also stand him in good stead as he prepares for Scottish football next season. However, Rogic is well aware that competition is fierce for places at Parkhead  which will make it difficult for him to earn recognition and acknowledges that his situation may not improve in 2014/15.

He said: "Celtic has been a good experience but I won't lie, it has been tough. I don't think I realised what a big club they are. The expectation on the players is just enormous. Kris (Commons) plays in my position and he's the top scorer. He scores almost every week. It's difficult for anybody to come in and take his place. Some of these guys at Celtic have skill that would blow your mind. It was after two or three weeks that it dawned on me and I thought, 'This is hard. This is much tougher and sharper than back home'."
