Third Time Lucky For Peterhead?

peterheadAberdeen have turned to Peterhead for the third time in three weeks to act as opposition for closed door friendly game at Pittodrie tonight. Peterhead will be hoping to continue their progress in cutting down the deficits recording in the first two game which they lost 4-0 and 2-0 at their Balmoor Ground. Perhaps a change of location will change the Blue Toon's luck.

Manager Jim McInally said: "In the first game Aberdeen had the game won by half time but we gave a much better account in the second half. The second game was much tighter and how knows in this third one we may give them a fair amount of problems. I am delighted that Craig Brown has asked us to provide the opposition again as playing a SPL side is better than training for our guys. I reckon Craig enjoys the games as well as it gives players practice ahead of their Scottish Cup Semi-Final with Hibs this weekend."
