There Is Always Tomorrow

C:WindowsTempphpDBDF.tmpQueen of the South will be travelling to Dumbarton tomorrow evening for a rearranged Championship game.  Games between the two sides are usually fairly tight, with Callum Fordyce scoring the only goal of the game to give the Doonhamers a one - nil win at Palmerston back in August.  Tomorrow's game gives Queens a chance to erase the memory of the 3-0 reverse they suffered at home against Livingston on Saturday which put paid to a decent run of unbeaten games.  It just takes one game to start a good run again and a return to action is the best medicine following a disappointing loss.

Queens manager Gary Naysmith said: "
We were well off our game on Saturday and there is no argument that the best team won on the day, but that game has gone now and although we can't forget it we have to move on and our focus is now fully on the game against Dumbarton. They are a decent side and are very good at what they do, they work hard and are well organised, there is no doubt that this will be a very difficult game for us. They picked up a good result with a draw at Dunfermline at the weekend and will take confidence from that and they will have looked at our result and look to take advantage.  They will be thinking we are on a low and will take the game to us so we need to match that first and then go and cause them problems. I have a lot of time and admiration for Stevie and Ian, they don't have the biggest budget but always seem to put together a good squad that fight and work hard as well as having some players with a bit of quality.  They always seem to be able to pull out a result when they need to.  We are going there on the back of a disappointing performance so we really need to be at it and show Saturday was a one off. We will have a look and assess the squad as we may well freshen things up a wee bit.  Kyle Jacobs red card on Saturday means he will be suspended for this one and Dan Carmichael is the one player injured and won't be available".
