Queen of the South want their fans to turn up in increased numbers to get right behind Gus McPherson’s side as they face crucial game this month. The club are offering reduced price packages against Ayr United to help them do that. The Dumfries side will be playing three of their next four at their Palmerston Park home, including games against relegation rivals Raith Rovers and Ayr, and they want a packed Palmerston Park to intimidate the visitors.
Doonhamer fans who come along to Saturday's home game against Raith Rovers and Partick Thistle next weekend will receive a voucher at both game that will allow them to pay a discounted price of £10 for adults and £5 for concessions for the Ayr game on Saturday 31 March 31 with children getting in for nothing.
Director Mark Robertson said: "We would love to see Palmerston packed for these massive games. They are crucial in our fight for survival in the First Division and we need the fans to be the twelfth man. At the Aberdeen game in the Scottish Cup last month the players got a real boost from the number of fans that turned up and the atmosphere was fantastic. It would be great if the fans could help make March a month to remember."
