Hibs have one of their Moroccans back and he is raring to get back in action in the green and white.
Zemmama heading back to East Mains for pre-season training last week and Hughes has been impressed with, not only Zemmama's technical ability, but also his levels of fitness. He said: "Zouma has been absolutely magnificent, he is one fit boy. He's out in the front when we're doing the running, he listens and he's got some engine on him. He's like a pocket battleship. He's always got a smile on his face and I think that's down to the fact that we've had the ball out from day one. We've been doing work with the ball, running, turning corners and passing it about. He's just got to learn to trust me and I've got to learn to trust him but things have been going great so far. I know that I have got to be understanding as well to his situation and to his culture but I think he's really enjoying it and I'm enjoying working with him." It is not expected that Zemmama will manage to play out the full 90 minutes, as Hughes said: "We just have to take it as it comes over the next couple of games, we have got to speak to the players because they will know when they are fatigued, only they can tell us that. We don't know yet whether he will be able to play the full 90 minutes but it will be good to see him back." | |||
