Doonhamers manager Kenny Brannigan is looking forward to linking up with an old friend this weekend when Qeen of the South visit league leaders Raith Rovers. Brannigan explained, “When I was in the twilight of my career at Berwick Rangers, Paul Smith who is now assistant manager at Raith was a team-mate, and I am really looking forward to seeing him again."
Brannigan is a fan of what Smith and Kirkcaldy boss John McGlynn have achieved saying, "They are top of the table on merit having lost one league match to date. They have been a revelation during those last couple of seasons in Division One. They are sharp up front and their defence is hard to break down and I think their manager John McGlynn has done a great job.”Injuries continue to haunt Palmerston with Brannigan adding, “It will be a late call who plays and who is available, but I will know better come Friday." |
