C:WindowsTempphp5B3F.tmpRonny Deila considers that the 3-1 win over Dundee United at Tannadice on Saturday underlines the depth of the Celtic. The visitors took a two goal lead Jackie McNamara’s side in the first-half thanks to Leigh Griffiths' early goal and Mark Durnan's own goal before Chris Erskine’s penalty pulled one back for the home side before the interval. Cletic's second-half substitute Callum McGregor put the result beyond doubt, however, when his deflected shot worked its way past the in-form Luis Zwick and secure a 3-1 win, although it could have been much more. After the game Delia praised his side’s consistency, despite the sweeping changes made to the starting XI from Wednesday's UEFA Champions League play-off first leg against Malmo at Celtic Park, and backed his team to continue to improve ahead of Tuesday’s return leg in Sweden.

He said: "It was a good performance. First half was very good but quite irritating that we conceded a goal at the end. That made us a little stressed in the second-half but we continued after a bad start and got more into the game and got the third goal. In the end we won in a comfortable way. We had so many chances and could have scored more goals, even though we scored three so that’s good. You saw it against Rennes that we have a lot of players who can go in and do a job now. It’s not just the first-team players and regulars that are improving, it’s the players behind and that makes the whole training and squad better and better. That’s a good thing for us to know that we can put on nine changes and win games away in the Premiership."
