Stranraer have some more je ne sais quoi to their line up now that they have defender Zakaria Belkouche signed on a short term deal. The Frenchman signed from the EduSport Academy to help bolster theThird Division side's ranks as they bid for promotion. Belkouche is on a 34-week residential programme based at the Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility which combines educational courses, English Language tuition and daily training with UEFA coaches. Stair manager Keith Knox heard about the defender from his contacts at the facility.
After impressing in training with the Blues and starring in bounce games Knox handed Belkouche a short term deal and he was in the team to make his debut against Elgin at the weekend.
