Still Much To Play For

C:WindowsTempphpB400.tmpDumbarton welcome a St Mirren side they have already beaten twice this season although the home side have injury doubts over Mark Docherty and Christian Nade. Everyone else in the Sons squad is available as they look to bounce back after losing to Raith Rovers and pull further away from ninth place. Manager Stephen Aitken said: "Both Docherty and Nade will only feature if they are 100 per cent right as this is too big a game to take a chance in. We are in a good position with a five-point advantage over Livingston with three games to play and we want to build on that. However we recognise that St Mirren are an improved side."

St Mirren's former Dumbarton midfielder Scott Agnew is the visitors' only doubt, with Sean Kelly hoping for a place in the squad after missing out last weekend. Manager Alex Rae, meanwhile, has his sights set on finishing a best-possible fifth in his first season at the helm. Rae explained: "When I joined in December we were sitting in eighth place and the plan was to close the gap on the side immediately above us and then overtake them. We have done well in that we have climbed a couple of places but it would be good to win this one and possible go fifth. It will not be easy as Dumbarton have plenty to play for themselves."
