Old rivals from the East of Scotland League meet again in the Scottish Cup.

Annan manager Harry Cairney believes James Dunbar and Kevin Neilson should be fully recovered from respective knocks in time for kick-off at home to Spartans in the Scottish Cup Second Round. The Scottish Cup itself provides plenty of edge but that will be spiced up by the fact the clubs are old East of Scotland League rivals who were neck and neck in the race to be elevated to the Scottish League after Gretna dropping out of existence created a gap.

Annan may have won that race so Spartans will be eager to try and get one over on the Galabank side. Howver that does not faze Cairney. He said: "
We know each other very well - we go back a long way and have played each other in league and trophy games. Hopefully this is a game we can win. I think we can. But one game is as hard as another.''
