Forfar have set up their pre-season programme ahead of the 2016-17 season. Pre-season training will start on 14 June leading up to their first game, against Raith Rovers on Tuesday 28 June (kick-off 19:45). There will be another four home friendlies before Dumbarton pay a visit on 16 July as the opening competitive game, in the Betfred Cup. Will five games be enough to get rid of the rustyness that seven weeks of R&R have generated? Only time will tell.
