Lukasz Zaluska is willing to wait and take his chance when he can at Celtic Park

Lukasz Zaluska was a regular in the Dundee United side before his summer move to Celtic. However, he has no regrets over the lack of minutes he has added to his overall game-time. He feels very much part of an extended happy goalkeeping family at Parkhead. Zaluska has watched from the bench as undisputed number one Artur Boruc has kept his place this season. But an injury to his fellow Pole saw Zaluska make his league debut for the club in Sunday's 2-1 win at Hamilton. His performance may have given manager Tony Mowbray a selection headache. But while Zaluska admits he finds it hard being out of the side, he claims bringing success to Celtic is more important than his personal ambitions.

He said: "
For every goalkeeper who is number two, it can be difficult, but Celtic is a massive club and I am honoured to be here. I haven't been playing that much but I am certain this is the right club for me and I made the correct decision to come here. Before every game and every day in training, I do my best to help Artur and all the other goalkeepers. Getting three points for Celtic is always our aim. We want to do well in every game and try to win the title. For me, that is the ultimate aim."

New goalkeeping coach Steve Woods ensures that Zaluska, Boruc, Dominic Cervi and Daniele Giordano all enjoy their training. He said: "
I really enjoy training. Myself and Artur help each other. That's a good position to be in, because we are all pushing for the same target - to win the SPL title. We work with Daniele Giordano and Dom Cervi. We have two Poles, one Italian and one half-Italian, half-American. We all have a good laugh working with Woodsy and I think we are lucky to have him as a coach. I worked with Steve Thomson at Dundee United and now I work with Woodsy. They are two great coaches and two great guys. At Celtic, we are like a big goalkeeping family, but we work hard. Trust me, we work very hard under Woodsy."
