ross countyDerek Adams is not content with bringing just two new players to Ross County and is looking for even more despite being close to a third January signing. Winger Ivan Sproule has arrived from Hibs and defender Evangelos Ikonomou from Greek Superleague club Atromitos, and the club are still waiting for a work permit for Canada international Andre Hainault.

Adams said: "
We have done well so far and will continue to work during the transfer window to try to get in some more players. We're looking at maybe some more foreign players and maybe a blend of Scottish and English as well. We have got scope to do that and are looking to strengthen the squad in this window."

Sproule and Ikonomou have been part ofthe squad spending some of the winter break at a training camp in Spain and could make their debuts in the league clash at St Mirren Park on Saturday. Adams said: "
Evangelos is a left-back and gives us good competition in that area, where Marc Fitzpatrick has played this season. He's a strong player, only 25 but with good experience of playing in the top league in Greece. Andre is a centre-half with good experience in the MLS with Houston Dynamo. He's got 32 caps for his country and we're just hopeful the Home Office give us the go-ahead."

Meanwhile, Adams was not minded to say whether Richard Brittain would be wearing the captain's armband on Saturday after signing a pre-contract agreement with St Johnstone. He said: "
I have already decided what I'm going to do come Saturday and will leave it to then. There's a bit of pressure on him. That comes with the territory if you sign a pre-contract. You have to go out and show the fans you're still committed to the club. There's a huge amount of pressure."
