C:WindowsTempphpCC5C.tmpRangers fans will have to patient again according to Lee Wallace as the new management pairing of Mark Warburton and David Weir look to lead the Ibrox club back to the Scottish Premiership. Rangers are preparing to start and challenge to return to the Premiership following their failure in the play-off final last season where they lost 6-1 to Motherwell over two legs. Left-back Wallace revealed a new style of play is being set down at the club by Warburton and his assistant, a former Rangers captain, and says both the players and fans have to give it time to come to fruition.

He said: "The manager and Davie have spoken about how they want everybody to be playing and we're going to look to build through the goalie and play through the thirds. You've heard everybody talk about the style of play we are trying to achieve here to get the fans excited.  The style is going to be different for everybody here and for Rangers as a club and it will be a style that requires patience. Not just patience from the players, because we know it is going to be a difficult style, but it's one that is proven and one that will make us successful. It's required from the fans as well and if we do that collectively then once we get used to the style and the way the manager wants to play the game we'll be a force."

Wallace stressed that the squad are buying into the new regime who are imposing their own philosophy at the club's training complex ahead of the new season. He went on: "It is up to us to work and appreciate the environment we work in because sometimes in a facility like this you can overlook that and take that for granted. We're reinforcing that mind-set in and around Murray Park - the players are sorting out their own code of conduct. It's about the respect we must show everybody and we must all come together, the staff here and at Ibrox and, more importantly, the fans. So if we all get on this path together the future is certainly looking great for Rangers."
