Pars Looking To Bounce Back

C:WindowsTempphp771C.tmpAirdrie meet promotion-seeking visitors Dunfermline today without the services of defender David Proctor who is out with a groin injury. Diamonds manager Gary Bollan has warned his side that they will be facing a determined Fife outfit. He said: "Dunfermline will be wounded after being defeated by Stranraer in the Scottish Cup in midweek. They will be out to make amends and we have to be ready for that. We showed a battling side to our game to come back and get a point against Brechin last weekend and I am sure that we will show that again in this one."

Dunfermline have the option of adding Jonathan Page to their defence at the Excelsior Stadium after the centre-back returned from a three-month loan spell at East Fife. However, Lewis Martin, Andy Geggan and Gozie Ugwu are injury doubts for the Pars, who trail leaders Forfar by two points, with a knee injury keeping Ryan Williamson out and a pelvic issue doing the same for Ryan Wallace. Manager Jim Jefferies said: "We were disappointing the other night and there is no hiding from it. We have the chance to get over that by winning at Airdrie and I fully intend for us to take that chance."
