There has to be some players willing to leave Rangers to make way for their new signings

"Buffel must first decide if a team such as Germinal Beerschot is suitable for his future"
Thomas Buffel could be heading home if Germinal Beerschot manage to find the money to follow up their interest in the Rangers midfielder. While the Belgium international has a year left on his contract, Rangers are ready to let Buffel leave Ibrox. In the pas he has also been linked with Norwich and a number of clubs in Germany's Bundesliga and said to be watching the situation with interest. Germinal vice-president Herman Kesters said: "
We have spoken with Thomas Buffel's agent. Thomas is a player who can help our team, but Buffel must first decide if a team such as Germinal Beerschot is suitable for his future. We have let him know our offer. In the coming days it should become clear whether a move to Germinal Beerschot is possible."

Kesters is aware the club could lose out if one of the Bundesliga sides looking at Buffel make a move for the former Feyenoord player. He said: "
If a German team comes in with lots of money it becomes difficult for us. We are still looking down other routes, but we certainly want to talk with Buffel again."
