Nobody Splitting The Old Firm

motherwellMotherwell are not planning to get above themselves anytime soon. Despite being three points ahead of Celtic as they sit in second place, Michael Higdon insists the Steelmen won't end the SPL dominance of the Old Firm. Saturday saw a fine 1-0 away win at Hibs, their third win in a row, but Higdon believes there will be a familiar look to the top two places at the end of the season .

Higdon said: "I don't think we are good enough to split them but it's nice to be in between them at the moment. You want to beat Celtic and Rangers when you play against them but they win the majority of their games. You take them two out of it and try and be the best of the rest. We don't deal with the expectations; we don't know what to do with it really. We're just enjoying the football and we're looking forward to the next game. When you get that winning feeling it's like a bug and you want to feel it again. That's what we strive for."
