There will be no old pals act for ninety minutes from 3pm today for Mehdi Taouil as he hopes to add another three points to Killie's tally.

kilmarnock jpegMoroccan Mehdi Taouil will be meeting up with compatriots Merouane Zemmama and Abdessalam Benjelloun when Hibs come to Rugby Park today, but he does not plan on making it a friendly encounter. He is keen to build on last weeks win over St Johnstone which was only their second win in 13 games. Hibs are on a longer unbeaten run with nine-games taking them to within two points of league leaders Celtic. Taouil is not concerning himself with outshining his fellow Moroccans, more on stretching Killie's four-point lead over bottom club Falkirk. Taouil said: "In every game you have motivation. It's a little bit special when you play your friends but it's still the same motivation. We need to win and we're going to give everything." Zemmama has been at the centre of Hibs flair play in recent weeks and Taouil said: "It's good for him, he is a really nice guy. I'm happy for him, hopefully he will have a good season with Hibs. But hopefully on Saturday we are going to win and I am going to do everything to get the win."

Former Nancy and Montpellier midfielder Taouil hopes last weekend's victory at McDiarmid Park can help Killie turn performances into points more often. He has yet to score this season but said: "To have a good run you always have to start with one. We started last week and hopefully we can go on and have some more. Even if we have bad results, we have played some good games. We didn't deserve to get beat in maybe more than half of the losses we have had. So hopefully now we can keep going and take the chances and win games. I will feel better if we have good results."
